Junior season rundown

The junior curcuit has taken our fencers across 6 different countries in Europe. Our talented fencers have done a great performance, we are so proud of our guys.
Rufus Fastesson began his first year as junior by placing 56:th out of 191 fencers in London, United Kingdoms. A great start to his junior career. On the women's side Ankita Poppel placed 74:th out of 162. Lili Kis, also on her first year in junior, got 131:st.
Rufus and Emil Widén traveled to Lezsno, Poland, where Emil did his first junior world cup. Out of the 182 fencers Rufus placed 120:th and Emil 137:th. A performance from Emil that builds confidence for the upcoming season.
In Udine, Italy, Rufus placed 97:th out of the 196 fencers. He also took part in the team that got 18:th. Lili got 156:th place out of 162 and Ankita did an amazing 41:st place! They both helped in bringing the team to a 14:th place.
Aix-en-Provence, France, was the last world cup for Rufus where he got 135:th place out of 209 fencers. In the team competition Sweden got 12:th place.
Ankita and Lili went to Zagreb, Croatia the same weekend. Here Ankita placed 33:rd out of 149 fencers after winning all matches in the poule. Lili 135:th place.
Lili and Ankita's last world cup came in Jena, Germany, where they did an amazing 9:th place in team. Individually Lili placed 110:th and Ankita 129:th.
This was the last year for Ankita in juniors and we are so proud of all the results she has made, how she have continued to fight and grow. Good luck in Senior next year, we are excited to see what results you do.
For the rest of our juniors this was just the beginning and already we have seen a huge change and improvement after every competition.
